FCL Components Completed the Transfer of Its EMS Business

FCL Components Limited (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; President and Representative Corporate Officer: Kenji Komatsu) has completed the sale of the Electronics Manufacturing Services (“EMS”) business of FCL Components Limited to Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kanagawa, Japan; President & CEO: Yuichiro Naya). Under the terms of the transaction, the EMS business was first carved out and transferred to Nagano FCL Components Limited (Head Office: Nagano, Japan; President and Representative Director: Shinya Matsuyama), a wholly owned subsidiary of FCL Components, with the transfer of Nagano FCL Components Limited’s shares to Meiko followed.

Nagano FCL Components Limited changed its company name to Meiko Electronic Components Co., Ltd. on June 1, 2026. FCL Components Group will continue to sell the EMS products at the following sales offices under the Meiko Electronic Components brand.

Following the closing of the transaction, FCL Components will focus its management resources on the Relay business, to further strengthen its standalone operating platform, technology development and product innovation capabilities. This strategy includes expanding global presence in next-generation power architecture fields such as AI server power supplies and grid-scale energy storage system (ESS) applications, and building on proven reliability and technological expertise cultivated in mission-critical applications such as factory automation and critical communications infrastructure.
