Unauthorized Access to the System of the Overseas Subsidiary

Tokyo, Japan – February 6, 2026: FCL Components Limited (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Kenji Komatsu) announced on December 3, 2025 that there was unauthorized access to the server used by our subsidiary “FCL COMPONENTS (MALAYSIA) SDN.BHD.” (hereinafter referred to as "FCM"). FCL Components and FCM sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may cause to all parties concerned.

As a result of a detailed investigation with an external cyber-security advisor, it was confirmed that some information within FCM's system environment was leaked, and some data was encrypted. Meanwhile, FCM's production and shipping operations immediately resumed in December 2025, and there was no impact on the operations of FCL Components group companies in the rest of the world including Japan.

After the unauthorized access was discovered, FCL Components promptly took countermeasures, identified the magnitude of the impact and implemented counter measures to prevent recurrence incidents, and have been closely monitoring the situation.
