Unauthorized Access to the System of the Overseas Subsidiary (2nd Update)

Tokyo, Japan – December 22, 2025: FCL Components Limited (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Kenji Komatsu) announced on December 3 that there was unauthorized access to the server used by our subsidiary “FCL COMPONENTS (MALAYSIA) SDN.BHD.” (hereinafter referred to as "FCM").

FCL Components and FCM are currently investigating the cause of unauthorized access and the impact of damage with external experts. As a result of the subsequent investigation, FCL Components confirmed information on the Internet that was suspected of being leaked from FCM due to this unauthorized access. The content and scope of the information suspected of being leaked are under investigation. Based on the results of the investigation, FCL Components will promptly notify you if we confirm the impact of a data breach. This unauthorized access only affected FCM's systems, and FCL Components Group have not confirmed that the systems of other locations of the Group have been affected at this time.

Since it has been confirmed that the manufacturing system has not been damaged, FCM has continued to manufacture products even after the unauthorized access, and product shipments are currently being carried out as before.
