FCL Components Group – Responsible Mineral Sourcing Policy

In recent years, the mining of mineral resources has sparked global concerns due to issues such as child labor, forced labor, human rights violations, and financing of armed groups. As a result, companies worldwide have made the protection of human rights and supply chain transparency a critical management priority.

FCL Components Group recognizes its social responsibility and public mission to respect international human rights. We have positioned responsible mineral sourcing as one of our corporate priorities, and are committed to strengthening human rights protections and risk management throughout our supply chain and through the following initiatives, with the goal of building sustainable corporate value:

Risk Assessment Surveys

We conduct upstream supply chain risk assessments through research and close collaboration with our suppliers, leveraging the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).

Promotion of Due Diligence

To prevent the use of minerals linked to forced labor, human rights violations, or the funding of armed conflict, we undertake measures aligned with internationally recognized guidelines (Note) and standards.

Response to High-Risk Minerals

When minerals identified as posing significant risks are confirmed within our supply chain, we promptly take corrective action to eliminate their use and pursue sustainable, ethical sourcing alternatives.
